Dr. Dwight Thibodeaux Dr. Thibodeaux received his undergraduate training at Louisiana State University and graduated in 1981 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. His three year tenure as Clinic Director of a medical and surgical eye center in west Tennessee contributed to his extensive background in the treatment of eye diseases and pre-surgical care. In 1990 he was one of three instructors offering the first post-graduate education course in laser use by optometrists and has served as clinical instructor at Southern College of Optometry where he established a residency and internship program in ocular disease. Dr. Thibodeaux has particular interest in specialty contact lenses, diabetic eye care and medical management of glacoma. Having had laser vision correction himself, Dr. Thibodeaux provides consultations and in-depth perioperative care for these procedures. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and was honored as the Optometrist of the Year in 2002 by the New Mexico Optometric Association.
Dr. Paul Tachau
 A native of Santa Fe, Dr. Tachau recieved his undergraduate training at New Mexico State University and graduated in 1983 from Pacific University College Of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He has maintained a private practice in Santa Fe since 1987. Additionally, Dr. Tachau received post-graduate training in the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and lasers. Dr. Tachau has particular interest in contact lenses and perioperative surgical eye care. Dr. Tachau utilizes his extensive optometric experience by offering comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, refractive surgery consultation and co-management, as well as the medical management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and the treatment of infections and dry eye. He is a member of the New Mexico Optometric Association and has been a member of the American Optometric Association and AOA contact lens section for over twenty years.
